Give Honor

I really believe that recognizing people who have exhibited the love of Christ and walked in obedience to Him should be recognized.  I think affirmation is a fine art that the Church can participate in so that people will know that their efforts have been seen and made a difference.  That’s especially important during Pastor and Staff Appreciation Month, which is celebrated during October, as church members recognize and affirm those who serve in spiritual leadership.  And, against the backdrop of the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians on November, 1, we can also recognize the bravery of persecuted Christians and the people and ministries who serve them.
