Elevated Threats
We live in an extremely dangerous world, it seems, and I believe it is a fulfillment of the signs that Jesus pointed to in Matthew 24, as He spoke of wars and rumors of wars. Not only are countries going to war against one another, but there are actors now that are driven by ideology and commit heinous acts in order to promote it. Sometimes they’re associated with a country, sometimes a group, other times “lone wolves.” But, this is an indicator of the importance of trusting in the Lord, resisting fear, and moving forward in faith, with a sense of urgency.
