Matters of life and death, and what you could say, birth and death, have become troubling in our culture today. In addition to the termination of human life through abortion that continues to be a major issue, exacerbated through mail-order abortion, there are issues surrounding what are called “designer babies,” genetic engineering, and problems concerning in-vitro fertilization, which in many cases involves the termination of frozen embryos who are not “chosen” to be implanted. When we fail to recognize God as Creator, the fallacy of human wisdom becomes front and center.
